MacBook Pro 2016 Specs, Price Rumors: Release Date Set To Be Revealed On Oct. 27?

The news buzz and rumors are working on overdrive as the MacBook Pro 2016 release date is expected to be announced on Oct. 27. Apple, as always, is silent amid all the speculation about the imminent launch of its latest flagship.

The invites have already been sent out for an event at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino. The digital cards have the tagline-along with the multicolored Apple logo-"Hello again." This could be the allusion back when Apple was first launched or, as MacWorld claims, could be because Apple had just held an event on Sept. 7 to introduce the iPhone 7.

Nevertheless, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the Oct. 27 event would be the day when the MacBook Pro 2016 release date would be announced, confirming all those rumors and news reports that hogged tech sites in the past couple of months.

He predicted that Apple will introduce the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016. There are five key specs for the laptop, based on Ming-Chi's predictions.

The device would still have the same panel resolution although with "better display quality and energy efficiency." USB Type-C port, Touch ID Sensor, butterfly design, Thunderbolt 3 and, for those who can afford it, they can have the 2TB SSD storage.

However, one disappointment is that the MacBook Pro 2016, according to the analyst, would still be equipped with the Skylake processor at the time of the release date, in contrast to all the rumors and news reports that it will run Intel's new Kaby Lake chip.

Apple's MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to have an estimated price range of $1,099 to $2,099.
