Actress Jessica Pare recently spoke with British GQ about some inside information from the writer's room of Mad Men. While being married to Don Draper has never been easy, is there a hint of an escalation of marital woes that will bring Don and Megan's relationship to the point of destruction?

According to Pare, "One of the writers said, 'We're having a good time putting Megan (Pare's character) through the wringer.' The first half of the seventh season of Mad Men airs on April 14 of this year. The producers of Mad Men have been notoriously secretive about this 14 episode, two part finale, but nothing is out of the picture in terms how this series might twist and turn, manipulating its characters' outcomes.

While Megan's fate may be bumpy on account of Don Draper's escapades, Jessica Pare has nothing but admiration for the man acting opposite her as her on-screen partner. Again form British GQ: "I love every single second I spend on set. Jon Hamm is the ultimate. He's gorgeous, super-talented and so solid,"

Unfortunately, there are scant sources as to the plot points and character arcs of the final season. Some photos have been taken of a recent set in production in California, and feature character Jim Cutler (Harry Hamlin) and Don Draper (Jon Hamm) helping a fellow business-man into his taxi. What we do know is that most of the characters are returning, possibly with the exception of actor James Wolk, who played Bob Benson in season six. Wolk is currently working in a CBS sitcom titled: 'The Crazy Ones.'
