'Madden 17' NFL News & Update: Ball Bounces Backwards After A Pass In-Game?

EA Sports' "Madden NFL 17" reportedly has a new glitch, which showed an insane moment, as per reports.

The Houseofhighlights took to Instagram a glitch video, involving Giants quarterback Eli Manning. In the clip, the althlete delivers a pass over the middle. Things are smooth at the start of the game; however, the ball bounces backwards more than 20 yards when it touches the receiver's hands. As a result, Jaguars' defense had an easy pick-six.

In another clip posted by YouTube user Matthew Skoglund, the Minnesota Vikings managed to have a field goal attempt. However, a Tennessee Titans player took the ball and then scores a touchdown. The odd element in the case is that the game notes the score as a Titans touchdown, whereas the commentators view it as Vikings'.

As per Game Spot, "Madden NFL 17" is known for various in-game glitches. Other glitches include nine minutes of fumbling, ghost intercepts, and touchdown returns, among others. No details are available in terms of the glitch's cause. According to the publication, they are just new and are seen by some players as factors for the franchise's appeal.

The game scored 8 in Game Spot's review. According to reviewer Miguel Concepcion, if EA Tiburon's goal with "Madden 17" had been to build upon the dolid foundation set by the last two iterations, the studio mostly succeeded by fine tuning its production values on and off the field while also focusing on its strengths in its Ultimate Team and Franchise.

"Madden NFL 17" was released on Aug. 23. It is playable on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
