'Mafia 3' Release Date News: New Achievements and Trophies Featured For Additional Points
New details on 2K Games' "Mafia 3" Achievements have surfaced and they provide points to players.
"Mafia 3" is set to have a sum of 55 achievements and trophies, Game Spot has learned. As per the publication, this adds up to 1000 points on the Xbox One console. It is added that some of these can be done via the game's story plot; however, some can be obtained in other ways.
The achievements are divided into three - Stroy Achievements, Gameplay Achievements, and Secret Achievements, as per The Tech 52.
Story Achievements include "Before They Bury You" (100 points), "Pray on the Way Up" (15 points), and "It's a Brave New World" (15 points), among others. "Cash in Hand" (10 points), "Baby, You're a Rich Man" (10 points), and "Raketeer" (15 points) are included in the Gameplay Achievements, among others. Meanwhile, "We're in This Together" (15 points) and "Just You and Me" (15 points) are the secret achievements, among others.
A case in point is "Bon Appetit." As per the publication, it provides players 15 points for feeding someone to an alligator. Conversely, "Next Time Swim Faster" needs players to get on the wrong end of an alligator and this rewards another 15 points.
According to The Gamers Drop, "Mafia 3" is comparable to real events, such as the 60s NOLA realm. As per the publication, 1968 serves as a historic year for America, since it was the year when Martin Luther King Jr. Was terminated and it was when the black Olympians fought aganist racism in the Olympics. Also, the timeline includes man's orbit to the moon and Yale began admitting women.
Published by 2K Games, "Mafia 3" is set to be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, mac OS, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 7.
