Marlene Brehm and Luke Dowler release their first singles today from their upcoming albums both releasing, September 18th
From two of Dream Records' most anticipated albums, worship leaders, Marlene Brehm & Luke Dowler release their new singles today, "Only You" by Brehm and "Coming Alive" by Dowler. Both songs are at Christian radio right now too. Both of their albums, "Reach The Sky" by Marlene Brehm and "Polarized" by Luke Dowler will be released on September 18th.
Since signing to Dream Records, both artists have been busy playing in front of thousands of new fans on their own shows and tours. Check out what the Christian community is saying about both artists.
On Marlene Brehm's, "Reach The Sky":
"Thematically, Reach the Sky centers around relationship with God, surrender, faith, and trust. While mostly bright and happy, there are thoughtful songs that run a little deeper to help provide a good balance. The album instantly establishes and maintains throughout a hopeful and positive outlook. And it's precisely this easy, breezy feel that makes Marlene Brehm so appealing. Some of the biggest praise I can give this project is that I hear shades of Point of Grace and Amy Grant in the production and in Brehm's effervescent appeal. This is a strong, promising debut, and I look forward to watching Marlene Brehm grow!" - Dawno - NewReleaseTuesday.com
"Combining the musical leanings, pop traits, and musical experimentation of contemporaries Britt Nicole and Francesca Battistelli, the strong powerhouse vocals of Natalie Grant and Kerrie Roberts, and the song writing knack belonging to Nichole Nordeman; It is clear to me that Marlene has recorded a gem of an album that should gain the attention and praise of listeners and critics alike.." - Joshua Andre - ChristianMusicZine.com
On Luke Dowler's, "Polarized":
"Today it is easy to get caught up in the selfishness of your own talents. Luke Dowler is an artist that is not caught up in that, but rather uses his voice for the voiceless, for good. When millions around the world are being trafficking for profit and for sex, Luke Dowler is saying, "No, this needs to stop." His song "Silence is Shameful" is just one way he is saying no to this crime and the abolition movement is grateful. Luke Dowler is a modern-day abolitionist."? - Austin Graff - International Justice Mission
"Polarized is full of alt rock sensibilities a la Switchfoot, mixed with Dowler's gritty voice for an outcome loaded with huge anthems and intimate, emotional ballads." - Brooks Ginnan - ChristianRockRocks.com
