Matthew Schuler 'The Voice' Season 5 NBC Performance of One Direction's 'Story of My Life' from Top 6 Live, Watch Here (VIDEO)

"The Voice" Season 5 returned to NBC tonight with the performances from the final Top 6 contestants. 

Matthew and his coach Christina Aguilera chose the new hit song "Story of My Life" from One Direction to represent Team Christina for his Top 6 performance. 

Matthew does a good job with this song. I think he has a great voice but after hearing One Direction perform the song live as well, it gives me more respect for those guys, because it just doesn't sound as big when Matt does it. He does add a key change and some big notes in his performance though which are cool.  Watch his full performance above.   

The judges/coaches for Season 5 are Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Ceelo Green and Christina Aguilera. Team Blake has won the last three seasons in a row with Team Adam winning Season 1. Team Adam has the current advantage with 3 of the Top 6 contestants remaining for the season. 

There are no clear cut favorites this year, so it will make these final weeks entertaining to see who America picks each week to move on.
