'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers: Episode 1, 2 Synopsis Leaked Online / Promo Footage / September 23 Premiere on CBS [VIDEO]

Fresh off the press! The How I Met Your Mother Season 9 premiere episode description has leaked online. Wanna know what the first two episodes are about? Thought so.

Though we're still a little less than a month away from the September 23 premiere, you don't have to wait for the synopsis for Episode 1"The Locket" and Episode 2 "Coming Back".

In the Season 9 premiere, the gang is on their way to Barney and Robin's wedding in Long Island. In the first bit of promo footage released yesterday, Barney and Robin are in the back seat talking about someone ruining their wedding. Will it involve someone getting lost on the way in Episode 1? Will the plane crash? Obviously not.

However, Robin and Barney do "come across a startling family discovery" which interrupts their ride to Long Island.

Lily on the other hand is trying to talk Ted out of his feelings for Robin. He explains how he needs to be a friend to her and let her marry Barney without screwing the wedding.

Marshall as usual is a cluster ball and "sees something online that changes the course of his entire journey back east." From the promo footage it looks like he gets tangled with a woman named Daphne [Sherri Shepherd] who sits next to him on his flight.

Episode 2 "Coming Back" involves Barney's real bro, played by Wayne Brady. Turns out Barney's getting married and his brother James is getting a divorce. The news sends Robin into commitment issue panic mode and worries how Barney will deal with the news.

The rest of the episode is basically Ted being lonely in a nice hotel room. Maybe he logs on to his computer and checks out one of his favorite real estate websites. HAH!
