What else do we know about How I Met Your Mother Season 9?

Well, we know Episode 1 "The Locket" will air Monday, September 23 at 8 PM ET with a special one-hour long premiere. We already have a little insight in the premiere synopsis. "The Locket" refers to the necklace Robin buried in Central Park when she was a kid during a Season 8 flashback.

According to several reports, Ted and Robin's relationship will continue to be explored. Will the on-again off-again lovers finally find some closure?

We also get to know a lot more about the mother's past. Cristin Milioti, who plays Ted's wife, has signed on as a Season 9 regular. We'll learn about her dating history, friends and personality. She's also playing the bass in Barney and Robin's wedding.
