'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers: Season 10 in the Works? Possible Spin-Off with Marshall and Lily? Premiere September 23 on CBS

The Internet has a love-hate relationship with me. While I've been busy slaving over articles about How I Met Your Mother Season 9, the series' final season, a rumor just popped up online that the show might get picked up for a 10^th season.

Josh Radnor told E! Online, to not believe everything you read on the Internet:

"I feel like we're leaving at a high point, and I feel like the series is as loved and popular as ever," the actor confessed. "And I feel like they can wrap up the story in exactly the way they want to, so it feels good to me."

Though a tenth season for the hit series is doubtful to return for a Season 10, there has been more substantial speculation of a spin-off series. Could it be Lily and Marshall? Or Ted's kids, now that we know whom the mother is?

That's neither here nor there. Fans of How I Met Your Mother have a full season of storylines to look forward to [and decades of re-runs] before the show is off the air.

In fact, fans should be happy to know, in Season 9 a lot of plot lines and inside jokes will be tied up in the final batch of episodes.

Ted and Robin will finally find some closure in their masochistic relationship. Ted and the rest of his friends finally meet the mother Ted has been searching for for 9 years [real-time]. Oh, and we meet Robin's mother.
