'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers: First Promo Footage From Final Season! Get to Know 'The Mother' Cristin Milioti / September 23 Premiere on CBS

How I Met Your Mother Season 9 premieres Monday, September 23 on CBS. That means, the final high five, the final high five, and the Mother will be revealed in the final season of the popular sitcom.

Following photos from the set of the Season 9 premiere "The Locket" CBS just released the first footage from the final episodes. In the promo Barney and Robin hint at one of their friend's ruining their wedding. Now it's just a question of who?

Also in the teaser, Barney reminds a disheartened Ted who is actually marrying Robin. Then the clip jumps to Ted and Robin have what looks like a "The Notebook" moment sitting on a bench outside in the rain. It also looks like Lily is on wedding control, making sure nothing sabotages the wedding. She even spears Ted on the floor before he could tell Robin how he feels.

In the Season 8 finale, HIMYM fans finally got to meet the mother. Playing the titular role, Cristin  Milioti revealed a little bit about Ted's future wife in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"She has a unique sense of humor that is very similar to Ted's. She's a young woman who suffers from dad humor, that's how she rolls. Someone who says a joke and you're immediately like, "Daaaadd!" Corny isn't even the word - a little nerdy."

Before signing on to be a regular cast member in Season 9, Milioti admits she wasn't a fan of the show.

"I feel really weird about this, but I had never seen it. I'm catching up on them now. I watch them every day at breakfast," the 28-year-old actress confessed.
