Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes Price: Konami Announces $10 Price Cut to Xbox One and PS4 Versions of Game
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes received a price cut for the PS4 and Xbox One announced game developer Konami.
Serving as a prologue to the game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Zeroes has dropped in price to $29.99, down $10. This is also the same price of the game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The digital download for the older consoles nets the price point even lower, at $19.99.
According to Digital Trends, Konami said Ground Zeroes will come with exclusive downloadable content for The Phantom Rain. The company also announced an iDroid app, which can be used as a second screen tool for Ground Zeroes as it "replicates Big Boss' in-game communication/map device." With this app, gamers can see maps, call air support, and see collectibles.
A Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes 'Fox Edition' PlayStation 4 bundle will be available on March 20 for roughly $462.35 according to a listing on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Polygon reported that bundle will be 500GB and will feature the Fox logo on it. As of now this edition is not being listed in the North American or European stores.
Ground Zeroes will be available on March 18 for PS3 and 4, and Xbox 360 and One. The Xbox versions will contain exclusive content called Jamais Vu while the PlayStation versions will contain Deja Vu.
