Due to a strangely terrible performance from LeBron James, the Miami Heat could not defeat one of the worst teams in the NBA.
James will attempt to aid his redeem himself tonight when the visits the Phoenix Suns, following 94-89 defeat against the Utah Jazz in Utah on Saturday.
James shot only 4 of 13 with 13 points.
"It was just one of those games where offensively we were out of rhythm and you try to win on the defense end," said James after the game.
Prior to Saturday's game, James averaged at least 30 points per game in three of the last four games and had shot at least 52 % in nine of his last 10 games.
The Heat was defeated for only the second time when allowing their challengers to score less than 100 points. The Heat missed their last four shots from the field following Ray Allen's 3-point shot cut the Suns's lead to two points with 47 seconds left in the game.
The Suns were merely 8 of 32 from 3-point range but they had a terrific beyond the arc, going 11 for 21 in a 122-109 victory over Golden State on Saturday as they prevented a third straight loss.
