Miley Cyrus Admits Drug Use in "We Can't Stop" Lyrics

Miley Cyrus new song "We Can't Stop" has already been an infamous song coupling it's incredibly catchy music and melodies with the racy lyrics. Then add on top of that, the official video release for "We Can't Stop" which already has over 92 million views is considered to be of a raunchy nature by many. 

Since everyone watched Miley Cyrus grow up on television playing Hannah Montana and being in movies, it is hard to tell if she has really changed that much since hitting adulthood or if she is just desperately trying to come across  as "edgy".  

Besides the subtle sexual references, the biggest complaint is the thought that Cyrus is talking about drug use in the song. With the line "dancing with Molly" which is also a slang term for MDMA and also when she speaks of doing a "line in the bathroom".

Cyrus, 20, speaks out for herself and confirms that she is making drug references in the song.

"It depends who's doing what. If you're aged ten [the lyric is] Miley, if you know what I'm talking about then you know. I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they've already had to edit it so much," Cyrus told the Daily Mail. "I don't think people have a hard time understanding that I've grown up. You can Google me and you know what I'm up to -- you know what that lyric is saying."

Cyrus clearly feels comfortable with how the song turned out and how much scrutiny it is getting. She is clearly not back tracking in any way on her choice of lyrics.

I understand it is her life and she is feel to express whatever she wishes. It is just disappointing to know how many girls look up to her and could try drugs or partying for the first time because of this song. I know some can say that is ridiculous, but it is true and will happen with some girls because of Miley's huge influence on their lives. If she is doing it and successful, then it must be OK.
