Miley Cyrus is finally shedding her claim-to-fame role as Hannah Montana for ecstasy-laden chart topper. Cyrus recently grabbed her first U.K. number 1 hit for her latest single "We Can't Stop". In fact the twerked-out summer dance hit was Cyrus' first top ten hit in the U.K ever. "We Can't Stop" debuted August 12 already selling 128,000 copies her first week.

Just because it's the former Disney star's first hit in the top 10 doesn't mean she hasn't been knocking on the door for a while now.

Bestselling singles like "See You Again" [2008], followed by "The Climb" and "Party in the U.S.A." all reached the number 11 spot over the course of two years.

Cyrus is finally making some headway in the EDM world knocking off Avicii's three-week long number 1 hit "Wake Me Up".

Who says salvia doesn't work?

The U.K. chart isn't the only personal best for Cyrus this year. "We Can't Stop" reached 100 million views, breaking the VEVO record for reaching the milestone in the shortest amount of time.
