Minecraft Xbox One, PS4 Release Date: 4J Studios Confirms Save Compatibilities [VIDEO]
4J Studios is yet to announce the official release date of the next generation Minecraft, but developers have confirmed that save compatibilities will be applicable for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PS4 versions.
Gamers can also take advantage of enhanced graphics now that Minecraft features improved worlds bigger than that of the Xbox 360, but still incomparable to the PC version's infinite capability.
Phil Spencer of Microsoft Xbox has verified that saves from Xbox One are compatible with the Xbox 360, but there may be changes when the game is loaded on PS4, according to The Examiner.
Other upgrades include bug fixes and game optimization that features teleporting interface between two different players.
Creator Mojang said that gamers are encouraged to send feedback online to aid streamlining future improvements.
Spencer admits that the idea of allowing save imports was not necessarily realized by game developers and in fact, it was thought as next to impossible.
Spencer and Mojang revealed in a report by Gamespot on May 5 that the completion of the upcoming Minecraft is nearing the finish line, but added that the release date would not be the end of the updates.
Rumors also suggest that Minecraft will be having its version on PS Vita late this year.
