Mission Pictures International (MPI), which was created to fill a unique position and need in the marketplace for family and faith based films, announces their partnership with Guideposts to develop and produce a set of motion pictures based off of the "Love Finds You" book series. The company will have the exclusive right to develop and produce the book series as motion pictures as well as to select certain books and engage writers to adapt them into screenplays.

The "Love Finds You" series is published through Guideposts' subsidiary publishing company, Summerside, and launched in October 2008. Summerside Press has continually released new books in the series, with the goal to set at least one novel in each of the fifty states. Each novel has a word count of around 80,000, and the stories are either historical or contemporary. One goal of the series is to give readers a taste of local life across America, thus, each novel draws on the compelling history or unique character of a real place. The plot details of each story remain as faithful as possible to the town's history, geography, and atmosphere.

For each motion picture, Mission Pictures will supervise and administer the preproduction, production, and postproduction of all the pictures. Mission Pictures will also serve as the distributor for each picture. Travis Mann will produce the films and Mission Pictures owners, Cindy Bond and Chevonne O'Shaugnessy will be the films' executive producers.
