'Moana' New Trailer News: Disney Reveals Latest Promo Poster For 'Moana'

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new promotional poster for "Moana," a CG-animated feature film that revolves around an adventurous teen named Moana, who embarks on a journey to save other people. The new trailer for the film is expected to air on "Good Morning America" on Thursday this week.

Disney's most recent foray in its animated musical rebirth, "Moana" is expected to be beautiful and moving, with breathtaking visuals and storylines that will melt hearts.

The latest promo poster for the film was revealed by Dwayne Johnson, who plays demigod Maui in the film, on his Twitter account on September 12. The poster shows the titular Polynesian princess standing with pride at the center, flanked by the demigod Maui and Pua and Hei Hei, her pig and rooster sidekicks.

The poster also features a beautiful oceanic imagery behind the characters, which is reminiscent of the recent teaser trailer which features a young Polynesian princess paddling into the water and splashing in the waves.

Johnson also revealed via his Twitter account that the new trailer for the film will drop on Thursday during his guesting on "Good Morning America."

"We're looking forward to seeing more from this promising-looking production," he said.

Since "Moana" is the first ever Disney film to feature a Polynesian princess, it is understandable that Disney fans are already raving about it. How the creators of the film bring to life the adventures of the teenage princess is also highly anticipated.

"Moana" is directed by the filmmaking team of Rom Clements and John Musker. Watch the official trailer below.
