"Naruto Shippuden" episode 486 will provide a continuation to the events in episode 485, where Sasuke learned from Oyashiro that Fushin was the head of the Lightning Group.

In the previous episode of the hit manga, shocking events shook Konoha. One of those was the explosion of some Shinobis, whose perpetrator remains unknown until now. While some believe that it is possible that the Genjutsus were the ones responsible for the attacks, many believe that they were not. The previous episode showed that the ones responsible for the explosions were blasting, zombie-like creatures who turn red when it's time for them to explode.

Following the events that happened in Konoha, Sasuke set out on a mission to find out who was responsible for the explosions. Before Orochimaru offered some valuable information to Sasuke as regards to his quest, they had met well-known weapon dealer Oyashiro, whom they cornered and forced to answer when they asked him questions about the head of the Lightning Group. Sasuke and Orochimaru had to make Oyashiro appear by coming up with a trap.

Spoilers for the upcoming episode suggest that episode 486 will focus on the continuation of Sasuke's quest, following Oyashiro's disclosure about the head of the Lightning Group.

According to reports, after learning that Fushin is the head of the group, Sasuke will go to a deserted place to find him. However, he will be attacked by an unknown creature which he will later discover to be a Genjutsu through the help of his Sharingan.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 486 is set for release on December 15.
