2017 is just about a month away and fans are already excited for the return of "Nashville" for its fifth season.

"Nashville" season 4 ended with Juliette going missing following a plane crash. Season 5 will provide a continuation to this major cliffhanger, plus reveal if Will and Kevin will have their happy ending.

Based on spoilers for the upcoming season, there is a huge chance for Kevin and Will to end up together. In fact, there are rumors that the two will even get hitched next season as Will finally accepts his true sexuality. However, there are also speculations that their reunion will not last long. Some speculate that just when the two are already about to get their happy ending, Will will have second thoughts about marrying Kevin. There are also theories that Will will be tempted to do something that will piss Kevin too much and prompt him to end their relationship.

As for Juliette, fans worry if Juliette survived the crash in the previous season. The good news is that according to the creators of the show, viewers will catch a glimpse of her again when the series returns.

Fans will also see new faces in season 5. Recent reports confirmed that Rhiannon Giddens will join the cast of the musical drama. She will be joined by Christian Coulson, who played Tom Riddle in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Bridgit was also tapped to portray a young YouTube sensation named Ashley Wilkenson.

"Nashville" season 5 returns on January 5 on CMT.
