NBA 2K14 Update: King of the Court Challenge Begins Today; Winners Get Tickets to NBA Finals, $5K, and a PS4 Bundle (DETAILS)

NBA 2K14 has a King of the Court Challenge that is being held by 2K, MLG, and Virgin Gaming, and it begins today and will run until April 3 on the PS3.

According to VG247, the month long online tournament will have a championship game on April 19, and the finalists will compete live in New York City on the PlayStation 4. The showdown will be broadcast through MLG studios and appear on MLG.tv.

The winner of the tournament will receive two tickets to the NBA Finals, $5,000, and a PS4 console NBA 2K14 bundle.

"Opt in to the King of the Court leaderboards, and play in the NBA 2K14 lobbies during the leaderboard qualifier period to win your way into the online bracket semi-finals," it reads on the site.

During the one month qualifying round, weekly goals will need to be met to advance on. Week one is total wins, week 2 is assists, week 3 is blocks, and week 4 is total games played.

NBA 2K14 was released on Oct. 1 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It arrived for the PS4 on Nov. 15 and the Xbox One on Nov. 22.
