Tonight's episode synopsis:

Analyst Nell Jones joins the NCIS: LA team in the field when a former Navy officer's girlfriend is kidnapped in exchange for Navy intelligence. Meanwhile, Deeks unknowingly breaks one of Hetty's rules.

SPOILERS:

When you're partners with someone, you have to spend a lot of time with them. That could either mean you get on each other's nerves eventually or start to bond over shared space and interest. In the case of Deeks and Kensi, it can sometimes be both. In last week's episode "Reznikov, N." senior level agents at NCIS are concerned the two partners are becoming a little too close.

"There is a scene in the fourth episode in, which is also the 100th episode, between Hetty and Granger (MiguelFerrer), who are talking about Kensi and Deeks, where she says, 'Partnerships can be tricky,'" explained NCIS: LA creator Shane Brennan. "And when the audience thinks things are back on an even keel, they're not."

According to the synopsis, Deeks breaks one of Hetty's rules. Could it have something to do with his relationship to Kensi?
