New "Need For Speed" Trailer Featuring Aaron Paul Released
The new trailer for Dreamworks film "Need For Speed" was released yesterday. The movie features Aaron Paul as a character based in the world of the popular action racing game of the same name. Aaron Paul is coming off of some recent success in the TV world as a co-star in AMC's "Breaking Bad," so if you miss your weekly dose of Paul then this movie is for you.
The premise of the movie centers on Tobey (Paul) out looking for revenge after serving time in jail for a crime that he did not commit. Tobey says in the trailer, "I spent two years thinking about one moment. He set me up. He just left him there. That's what I can't forgive."
The movie is being marketed as an action movie with Paul driving cars at breakneck speeds and even jumping across a canyon in a car. Michael Keaton's character tells the audience in the trailer that the film will be a brew of "love, vengeance, and motor oil - all swirling together."
Paul talked to Entertainment Weekly about what it was like working in such a stunt-driven movie. He said that he had never worked in an environment where there were so many stunt actors doing such dangerous stunts. He said, "It's amazing what they do. To see that family and brotherhood was a really cool thing."
The trailer features Paul's character dropping one-liners and even engaging in a bit of romance, basically all of the things you would expect from a big summer action flick.
