The Rap artist, Nelly, has recently just released his seventh studio album titled, "M.O". The rapper has had two years in the making on his newest album with Republic Records featuring many popular artists such as Pharrel, Wiz Kahlifa, Nelly Furtado and 2 Chainz. The St. Louis born and raised rapper was originally supposed to drop his seventh album back in June, but that obviously didn't happen. The album will include alot of special guests, almost seven different people  on the album. With this being Nelly's first studio album since 2010, Nelly has alot to prove. 

The album "M.O" features his hit singles, "Hey Porsche", "Get Like Me" featuring Nicki Minaj, "Marry Go Round" and "Heaven". "M.O." has met with some very medium critical responses as the album only has three out of five stars. David Jefferies from Allmusic stated, " Even if Nelly had his most successful single in years with 2010's "Just a Dream", we need a single that sounds like "B.O.B's Airplanes" track.". Rolling Stones, Caryn Ganz, gave his album a whopping two out of five stars saying "Nelly's seventh album opens strong with a brilliantly chill Nicki Minaj cameo on a glorious narcotic Pharrell track and characteristically romantic turn from Future, but wraps weakly with a jangly jam featuring Country music duo "Florida Georgia Line" and a cheesy ballad with Nelly Furtado."

The album "M.O." debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 Chart, with the first week of sales being at 15,000 copies in the U.S.. That said, this would be Nelly's lowest first week of sales in his whole entire career as an artist. The second week didn't do much more with bringing Nelly's total album sales to 20,000.
