Reports have surfaced saying that NeNe Leakes has been given an increase in pay for her role on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'. Apparently Bravo has agreed to pay the reality star $1.5 million per season of the show, that's a whopping 50% increase for her.

NeNe Leakes did not blush during the negotiations and she got paid what she thought she deserved for being the star of the show. Her reasoning for the price hike was that she is the most popular housewife among all the wives showcased in the program.

She is also the only original member left standing since the show began, and this fact did not go unnoticed by the show's producers. The other franchise shows like the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' or New York have slumped in the viewer ratings. They are aware that they cannot do the show without her and hence NeNe can afford to flaunt the tag of being the most expensive reality star.

On that note it seems that NeNe Leakes has taken advantage of her situation and has launched her own clothing line for plus sized women.

Also, apart from being the star of her own show, she has appeared in the popular musical drama series 'Glee', Celebrity apprentice Season 4, and on the 18^th Season of 'Dancing with the Stars'. WWE fans also saw her by the side of Brie Bella for her match against sister turned rival, Nicki.

NeNe will feature in the new upcoming season of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' which set to be air on November 9 on Bravo.
