'New Girl' Season 3, Episode 10, "Thanksgiving III" aired last night with Nick coming up with the perfect idea for everyone to be together on Thanksgiving, and relive the valuable lessons that the first Thanksgiving dinner taught us- literally. The show starts out with Nick and Jess sending out invitations for the Thanksgiving activities, when Nick starts to get made fun of by Coach for losing his masculinity. Nick than goes on a mission to prove to Jess and most of all, Coach, that he is a real man. By doing so, he came up with a plan that the whole gang would go camping for their Thanksgiving evening. Jess supported Nick right off the bat, but CeCe and Wintson were not too enthused about the camping idea. 

As they pack up the car and arrive in the woods, Jess realizes that Nick only packed beer and not food. When asking why he did so, Nick replied that they were going to hunt and find food just as the pilgrims and indians did. Jess is obviously dismayed at the fact that they have no utensils for hunting nor have any kind of expierence with catching live prey. Schmidt then comes to the rescue proclaiming that "you have to think like your prey in order to catch your prey". He then crawls under a homemade trap with a stick and large rock and in turn gets his shoulder crushed when the stick falls. The guys laugh at the thought of them never finding food when Nick sees something in the bacteria infested pond. It's a dead fish, and everyone knows it. Yet he still swims in after it claiming he's a man and that he will provide for his family. Meanwhile, Jess, Winston, and CeCe are back at camp starving when Winston finds a quick stop up the road. The three decide to go and buy 'forest' food, so that it would look like they actually found something in the woods. As Nick, Schmidt, and Coach arrive at camp, there is a overload of fresh vegetables sitting on a table. Nick plays it cool and acts like everything is fine, until he picks up an apple and sees the produce sticker on it. He then breaks down dramatically saying he's disappointed in everyone for not really trying to make a Thanksgiving meal, and that this trip was meant for everyone to spend time together. 

Nick walks off with Jess following behind him, as she applaudes him for his fish catching skills. Jess says that she will eat anything he has caught her and that he is a real man afterall, just as she takes a huge bite out of the already dead caught fish. Jess starts to act weird after eating the fish and they eventually pack up their things and head to the hospital for Jess. Episode 10, "Thanksgiving III" ended last night with everyone circling around Jess in the hospital bed as they finally enjoy their Thanksgiving meal with one-another that was made with love by the hospital cafeteria.
