Jess gets ready to date again in the latest episode of "New Girl" season 6.

Jess hits the gym with Schmidt and is prodded by him to date her gym buddy; however, things does not start out well for her.

"Jess (Zooey Deschanel) decides she's ready to wade back into the dating pool, so Schmidt (Max Greenfield) prods her to take the plunge with her workout partner. Meanwhile, Cece (Hannah Simone) hires a hunky new bartender, leaving Nick (Jake Johnson) to wrestle with the concept of male beauty; Winston's (Lamorne Morris) newfound confidence renders him irresistible," read the synopsis for episode 6.

In the episode, Jess excitedly tells her loft mates that she is back to dating again. Her supportive friend, Schmidt, decides to go with her to the gym in hopes of making things work.

Another scene shows Jess trying to seduce her workout partner, Robby, by stealing a kiss from him. Unfortunately, it looks like things won't go as planned as the move leaves both of them injured. Jess asks Robby, "Robby, are you okay?," to which Robby answers, "It hurts a lot. It felt good but then it hurts a lot."

Later, the two are shown in a hospital. While Robby does not seem to be mad at Jess, Jess makes another strike when she accidentally sits on Robby's injured leg and aggravates his pain.

Fans long for the day Jess will finally overcome her awkwardness around the men she dates.
