It was confirmed earlier this year that Kellan Lutz would be playing the role of Hercules in the upcoming movie Hercules: The Legend Begins. Written by Sean Hood, Harlin, and Giulio Steve, Hercules: The Legend Begins, is a love story between the son of Zeus and the mortal princess of Crete, who was to his older brother, but is in love with Hercules.

Kellan Luts known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the "Twilight" series shouldn't haven't any problems with this role as the series "Twilight" relates much to love and war.

The trailer for Hercules: The Legend Begins has been released and previews Hercules being exiled after love interest, Hebe is arranged to marry another man. During an interview the film's director, Renny Harlin said,

"We didn't want to make a movie that is just this brooding guy who's just going from fight to fight, and just being violent and brutish. For us, the love story was very much the heart and key to his character and his story."
