New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles Preview 2014, Start Time: Eli Manning vs. Nick Foles NFL Game Details [VIDEO]
The New York Giants goes head-to-head against their NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles on October 12 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
The Giants (3-2) looks to extend their winning streak to four games, after their recent 30-20 victory versus the Atlanta Falcons on October 5.
Odell Beckham Jr. is looking to build upon his performance in Week 5, where the athlete scored his first career touchdown in his NFL debut that day.
"To be out this long and to have to deal with the adversity I have had, I just I have to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play and for allowing me to score in my first game," said Beckham after the game.
"It's just great to get that off your chest. I just saw it go up and I said: 'There is no way this is going to hit the ground."
Beckham's teammate Victor Cruz also gave his thoughts about the rookie's lasting impression in his first NFL game.
"He is a guy who can change the complexion of our offense and wide receiving corps, and make us that much better," said Cruz to reporters.
"It's big for us to get him back and going in the right direction."
Meanwhile, the Eagles (4-1) are trying to maintain their lead in the NFC East division when they renew their rivalry with the Giants.
The Eagles won their previous game versus the St. Louis Rams by a final score of 34-28 this past Sunday.
Eagles QB Nick Foles is hoping his squad will play much better when they battle Eli Manning and the rest of the 'Big Blue' squad from New York on October 12.
"We have to learn how to finish better," said Foles to reporters, "As a team, we're not there yet."
Eagles' defensive end Cedric Thornton knows one of the keys of beating New York in their upcoming game is making the Giants offense create costly turnovers.
"Turnovers equal victories," said Thornton to reporters, "We try to get our hands on the ball and we've been capitalizing on it."
The game will begin at 8:30 pm ET and can be watched on TV via the NBC network.
