'No Man's Sky' Latest News: Gamers Complained About Being Blocked; Sony Issues Denial?
Sony has debunked news reports that the company is blocking customers asking for "No Man's Sky" refunds.
One user complained to the NEOGaf forum that he could no longer access the PSN Support chat because his ID was no longer recognized. He also alleged that he's not the only one who's being blocked by Sony.
"Trying with a made up ID takes us to chat. All of us seem to have the same situation of having previously requested a refund or a cancellation," Admiral Woofington claimed.
This bit of news on the "No Man's Sky" refunds was confirmed by another user who insisted that they are blocked because they were part of the hordes of customers who asked for "No Man's Sky" refunds.
"This is a bigger issue that Sony isn't being transparent enough about and it folds into the rest of their business practices," he added.
But Sony replied to a query from NDTV saying, "We definitely don't ban people from any support channels (whether they have or haven't had a refund)."
Canadian video game journalist Geoff Keighley said there's several issues surrounding the "No Man's Sky." He said without all the hype, the game itself is engrossing. But it's not worth blowing your $60 for because it's "unfinished."
"Sean wanted to preserve the promise and mystery of the game so much, he started to disrespect his audience. Those of you who paid for it have every right to be disappointed if you felt misled," he said.
Keighley added that he already reached out to creator Sean Murray, and he might break his silence on the news about "No Man's Sky" refunds on the game show host's newly created live show.
