Nook Tablet Price, Specs News: Anticipated Tablet Set To Be Launched On Black Friday 2016

The Nook Tablet will be launched during the Black Friday 2016, Nov. 25, according to the news shared by Barnes & Noble.

The seven-inch Nook Tablet runs Android and meant to optimize the Nook software. There will be two cameras for the device and will run for about seven hours before the battery is drained. The device will cost $49.99.

The price itself is worth the admission considering that the last time Barnes & Noble partnered with a company-the Samsung Galaxy Tab A-the device retailed for $139.

Unfortunately, the Nook Tablet will only feature 8GB of internal space but the good news is that it will also have a microSD slot, which can expand the memory of up to 128GB.

Fred Argir, Barnes & Noble chief digital officer, told The Verge, that the Nook tablet will also be able to access the Google App store, which should be welcomed by fans after the app was stopped by the company last March.

Also, the good news is that the Nook Tablet will also have preinstalled audiobook and magazine storeracks so users can read excerpts of the books for free.

The other specs for the Nook Tablet are:

- 7-inch IPS display

- 1,024x600-pixel resolution with 171 ppi

- 8.8 ounces in weight

- Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz)

The best thing about this tablet is you get access to over a million books for just a little over $4.00.

There's no news yet on whether the Nook Tablet will also be offered at a discount during the Black Friday 2016 weekend.
