NYC Serial Killer Spreads Fear Across Brooklyn

The recent homicides of three New York shopkeepers quickly spread fear all across the city of Brooklyn. The suspect still at large is now known as the New York City Serial Killer. The NYPD is on heightened security in search of the suspect.

The similarities of the victims raise concern about the murders being hate crimes. All of the victims are older males of Middle Eastern dissent and are shopkeepers. The latest victim was 78- y¬ear-old Vahidipour Rahmatollah. He was shot three times in his Shop on Flatbush Avenue on Friday November, 16. Egyptian immigrant and a Muslim, Mohamed Gebel, 65, was found murdered in his Valentino Fashion Inc. shop on July 6th. Isaac Kadare, a 59-year-old Jewish Egyptian, was found on August 6th in his Amazing 99 Cent Deal shop.

Even though there are similarities and the same .22 caliber gun has been used in all three homicides, police do not want to draw any conclusions. "The same gun was used in all three murders"¦it's too soon to tell. There are similar things in each case, but that determination hasn't been made yet." Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne remarked.

The address where the bodies were found all contain the number eight. A police officer told Fox News, "We're definitely looking into the number-8 angle. But we're not any closer to solving the case because of it."

The police have released a sketch of the person of interest. The person is believed to be a male weighing around 140 pounds and 5 feet 5 tall.
