One Direction stopped by 'The X Factor' US to perform this song 'Story Of My Life' on FOX (watch performance below). 

One Direction themselves formed on 'The X Factor' UK and have turned into the biggest current boy band in the world.

'The X Factor' US is currently in Season 3 with judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. They divide the talent up into four categories: Boys, Girls, Over 25s and Groups. 

One Direction's new album Midnight Memories releases on November 25th and has already released two hit singles "Best Song Ever" and "Story of My Life". This will be the groups third studio album.

One Direction will begin their 'Where We Are' Tour in 2014.
