One Direction Reality Show About Tour 2014: "Story of My Life" Band in Talks to Release TV Show About Songs and Tour Dates [Video]

Pop band One Direction is currently in talks with a production company to create a reality show in which the band talks about their songs and their current 2014 tour dates. The show will air on British TV station ITV and will feature up close and personal accounts of the band's day to day life on tour as well as some insight into their songs. ITV released a statement that said, "Producers have met with the band's representatives and it's pretty much a done deal. Details are being ironed out, including budgets and when to film."

Is this a smart move for One Direction? They are seemingly on top of the world with multiple full length movie features, hit albums, and a massive sold out stadium world tour. Other artists who were in their position and did reality shows regretted that decision. Britney Spears even called her reality TV show "Chaotic" one of the worst moves of her career.

Perez Hilton wrote, "Don't forget where you belong 1D, and that's a concert stage. You don't need the added stress of a reality series. Apparently, the series is set to launch in the second part of 2014, so we'll see what happens to the show's existence until then."

The "Story of My Life" band, consisting of Zayn, Louis, Niall, Harry and Liam, apparently have already agreed to doing the reality show so the final details are set to be put into motion soon.
