One Direction is stronger than ever, with the band refuting rumors about them disbanding in a recent interview with The Sun. The group reassured fans that they are not going to split up; in fact, 1D is busy working on a new project, although the release date of the band's fourth album is not yet confirmed.

"The fact we have an album coming should put these rumors to bed. We're here for as long as the fans want us," Niall Horan told The Sun.

He added, "We're really close as a band. It was lovely to have time off, but now it's great to be back together and on the road." Liam Payne also talked about the group's plan to release new albums "every year - year after year."

Where We Are World Tour, which kicked off in Bogota, Colombia, was graced by thousands of 1D fanatic. In one production number, Payne could not help but get emotional as the group serenaded the audience.

In a tweet, Horan mentioned Payne's "crying moment" on stage: "I know Liam will probably be embarrassed by this, but he cried a little while we were singing 'You and I."

Payne was open to his feelings and publicly shared his thoughts about 1D's performance in Bogota. He tweeted, "Honestly you guys are gunna set me off again Lima that was an overwhelming experience something I'll remember forever."

He was obviously overwhelmed with the attention the group was getting from the crowd.
