Oprah Winfrey Reveals her Biggest Fear in O Magazine's October Issue "Facing One's Fear"

While promoting her "Facing one's Fears" October issue of O Magazine, Oprah Winfrey revealed her biggest fear and you will never guess what it is. The 59-year old admitted to being completely terrified on inflatable objects, balloons to be exact.

During a video to promote the upcoming October issue Oprah said, "I really don't like balloons, and for my 40th birthday, my entire staff decided to surprise me, and I come downstairs and the entire audience is filled with balloons. Literally, I'm stepping over balloons, having to walk through balloons and I'm so, like, 'Oh! When is one going to pop?"

Winfrey said the reason for her fear of inflatable objects or balloons is, "It reminds me of gunfire...and it really freaks me out, being around balloons." She said, "[At that moment there was] no way around it, just had to walk through them. And that became a metaphor for facing all of my fears."
