Orange is the New Black Season 2 Spoilers: Netflix to No Longer Make Piper Chapman Main Focus, Cast Will Get Equal Screen Time

Orange is the New Black is at the tail end of filming its second season according to a series of tweets from the show's actors and actresses, and in the wake of its arrival many spoilers are looming about as well about the eagerly anticipated Season 2 of the Netflix show..

The top spoiler is concerning one of the show's main characters, Alex Vause, played by Laura Prepon. She will only be in four episodes and according to IBTimes, she will have an "open ending" which may allow for a return later. It was reportedly Prepon's decision to leave the show because her role compromised her belief in Scientology.

Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), the show's main character, will no longer be the main focus of the show. IBTimes reported that season two will be more of an ensemble cast with all characters getting featured.

One other spoiler concerned Jason Bigg's character, Larry. Larry is Piper's fiance and their relationship has really been tested because of the prison sentence and some infidelity issues behind the scenes.

"Everything on that show is functioning at two levels at all times," actress Natasha Lyonne, who plays Nicky said to IBTimes. "There's a real underbelly of suffering and pain. We're people in prison who have this albatross of regret of making, at some point, a terrible decision that led us to be there ... And Netflix feels like mavericks, there's not restrictions and walls, they really just want to make the best thing possible."

The show is expected to finish wrapping up season two in February, and should be out in early spring.
