Fans are anticipating the release date of the Origin PC EVO15-S after the news about the device's specs being able to play VR in an ultra-thin case came out. But is it worth the price tag?

The Origin PC EVO15-S specs are as follows:

In terms of price, the PC EVO15-S is right up there compared to the other gaming laptops in the market today, with an average of $1,500. But there are laptops out there with bigger RAM than this one such as the ASUS ROG G751JY-DH71, but retails at $2,500, or the Predator 15, which starts at $1,499.

According to Laptops Specs Out, said the memory of the PC EVO15-S is "impressive" but the news reports reveal that there's no way to expand it.

However, IGN in its review noted that while the specs might be impressive, the battery life of the Origin PC EVO15-S leaves much to be desired. According to its own tests, the laptop got nowhere close to the claim by the company of four-hour usage. In fact, when it just watched a movie, the device only lasted a little over two hours.

The Origin PC EVO15-S price is quite expensive, however, as it's expected to start at $2,083. But by all indications, the thin gaming laptop does provide value for money, if you overlook the battery life, that is. Watch out for more news articles on laptops and devices here.
