Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Divorce / "Lord of the Rings" Star and Supermodel Split After 3 Years of Marriage / Instagram and Twitter Shocked

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are filing for a divorce after three years of marriage. The former couple recently confirmed in a joint statement they had been separated for months.

"They [Bloom and Kerr] have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."

The "Lord of the Rings" star and second highest paid supermodel in the world vow to stay on good terms with one another for the benefit of their one son, Flynn who was born in 2011.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

Social media fans were a bit shocked, not only by the divorce news, but also with how Kerr was handling the separation.

Kerr, posted a photo on Instagram of herself looking into a mirror blowing a kiss at herself.

Some fans thought the vanity shot was a little insensitive and badly timed.

Not all fans of Bloom and Kerr were upset. In fact, some were happy knowing these two were on the prowl.
