Paul Walker From "The Fast and the Furious" Dies at Age 40 in Car Crash: Autopsy of Walker and Friend Expected Today

Beloved actor and philanthropist Paul Walker died in a high speed car crash on Saturday afternoon. His body was taken into the Los Angeles County Coroner after the crash that he and his friend were involved in on Saturday and official results are expected sometime this afternoon.

Walker acted in several high profile Hollywood movies, but he was most famous for his role as Brian in the popular "The Fast and the Furious" films. The films depicted Walker as a street-racing icon and were known for over the top chase scenes and huge explosions.

Other actors and several "The Fast and the Furious" co-stars opened up about their grief on Twitter and Facebook after hearing of the death of Walker.  Vin Diesel, a long time friend on and off screen of Walker's, waited more than two days after his death to speak up about the accident. He said, "Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now... and the profound impact, your full life has had it, on us... on me. I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were... on and off screen."

"The Fast and the Furious 7" has announced that it will take an indefinite hiatus from filming in order to give the cast and crew the chance to mourn Walker's death. It is unknown if the film will carry on without Walker, or if it will simply be scrapped in favor of a new film.

So far, there are two movies that Walker will post-humously star in called "Hours" and "Brick Mansions." These two movies will be released in 2014.
