'Person of Interest' Premiere Live Stream, CBS Start Time, Spoilers: A New Character Will Be Killed in Season 4

Season 4 of the crime drama television series 'Person of Interest' will premiere on CBS at 10 pm ET on Tuesday, Sept. 23. As fans are looking to find out what they can expect from Harold Flinch (Michael Emerson) and John Reese (Jim Caviezel), spoilers have been surfacing online.

In fact, fans can now expect anything to happen in the new season, since the writers killed off Carter (Taraji P. Henson) in Season 3. According to a latest report by Carter Matt, writer Greg Plageman tweeted that they keep the show "fresh" by killing off characters.

At the same time, Plageman hinted that another actor will also be leaving during Season 4, owing to the death of his character.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Episode 1 of "Person of Interest" Season 4 has been titled "Panopticon." The popular crime drama was written by Plageman and Erik Mountain and directed by Richard J. Lewis.

'Person of Interest' deals with the lives of former CIA officer John Reese and billionaire Harold Finch as they try to lower the crime rate in New York City by using The Machine surveillance system developed personally by Finch.

A previous report stated, "Michael and John's team will adapt to the changes in their lives and they are going to try to work discreetly. The group is hoping to hide from the Samaritan, which could be difficult for them."

In order to resolve the problems, the two characters "must create new identities made by Amy Acker's Root. With the new characters and identities, they will find new ways to live using these facades."

The official synopsis for Episode 1 reads, "Finch recruits Fusco to stick close to the latest POI, a professional 'wingman,' but learning how to approach women soon becomes the least of his worries. Meanwhile, Reese must find a way to play by the rules at his new day job as the Machine sends Finch and Root on a mysterious errand."

Evidently, fans will notice some unusually dark and thrilling things during the upcoming episodes of the series.
