'Persona 5' News, English Voice Cast, Details Spilled Ahead Of February 2017 Release Date

The recent news on "Persona 5" just revealed the English voice cast of the highly anticipated game. Find out the details below.

Yu Namba is responsible for supervising the English voice cast of "Persona 5."

"This is a completely new cast of characters, so we started with a blank slate in bringing life to them with our stellar cast of voice actors," Namba said in a statement. It's hard saying goodbye to the cast of previous Persona games, but we hope to bring an entirely new tone with a new set of actors for this game."

In the game, you are just a regular high school student interested in making friends or good grades. After dusk has settled, however, you go into what is described "The Palace." The English version is highly anticipated considering the reception of the title in Japan.

It is quickly becoming one of Japan's most commercial titles for this year, selling over half a million copies for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 since its release on Sept. 15.

The "Persona 5" English voice cast is as follows:

Protagonist - Xander Mobus

Morgana - Cassandra Morris

Ryuji Sakamoto - Max Mittelman

Ann Takamaki - Erika Harlacher

Yusuke Kitagawa - Matt Mercer

Makoto Niijima - Cherami Leigh

Futaba Sakura - Erica Lindbeck

Haru Okumura - Xanthe Huynh

Goro Akechi - Robbie Daymond

According to the news report, a video profile of each English voice cast for "Persona 5" will be released by Atlus in the weeks to come. The release date for the title in North America will be on Feb. 17, 2017.
