The prodigal's son returns to Indianapolis tonight for the first time since he was released in 2012. Peyton Manning, the long time quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, is making his return to Lucas Oil Stadium tonight with his new team the Denver Broncos. Manning, who was released amidst doubt about his health, has been torching defenses and is on pace to have the best season a quarterback has ever had. The question now is not whether the Broncos will beat the Colts on their home turf, but how bad.

Tony Dungy, the ex-head coach of the Colts for the majority of Manning's time in Indy, had a few words to say about this legendary matchup tonight on SNF. He said, "I never thought I would see him in a different uniform and certainly wouldn't think he would be coming back playing maybe the best football of his career - undefeated and putting up such gaudy numbers. But it's going to be an emotional night, a fun night and a night where we're going to see great quarterbacking on both sides of the field."

The quarterback on the other side of the field, Andrew Luck, is also nothing to be scoffed at. Although he is young, he shows signs of being a great quarterback in the NFL. Cris Collinsworth talked about Luck and said, " There's going to be a great tribute to Peyton Manning, but there's also going to be a great passing of the torch. Andrew Luck, if you watched him play at all, you know what a fantastic player he is - his mobility, his brainpower, his ability to do so many other things that Peyton did early in his career, and arguably even at a better level."
