Phillip Phillips, the American Idol Season 11 winner, has long been awaiting this award after the Pop/Rock star singer released he first solo debut album "The World from the Side of the Moon". His album which was released last November, features some of his hit songs such as; "Gone, Gone Gone", "Home", and "The Stone". Phillips Phillips has been determined to kick his career in the right direction as he is currently on tour with the legendary John Mayer. 

Phillip Phillips album " The World from the Side of the Moon" went Platinum after 4.7 millions albums were sold in the last year. His song "Home" has made over 4.7 million dollars in sales,making it the most successful single of any idol winner. The album went platinum after hittng over 1 million, which righfully earned the R.I.A.A. platinum status. As a 'Thank You' to all of his fans, Phillip Phillips will be re-releasing his album "The World from the Side of the Moon" with adding three live tracks from his tour with John Mayer.  "Im so thankful for all who have supported me and my music this year. Live music is my passion and I want to be able to share that with my fans." Phillip Phillips states. Phillip Phillips will continue his role on the "Born and Raised" tour with Mayer, and will also be performing at some local colleges.
