Just when fans thought that the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film was the end of it all, the people behind the popular film confirmed that a fifth installment is well on its way.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will see the return of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow and Orlando Bloom as Will Turner.

According to reports, the fight between Captain Sparrow and the main antagonist of the film, Captain Salazar, will be the focus of the upcoming film. There are speculations that this time, Captain Salazar will succeed in killing the most loved fictional pirate of all time.

The trailer for the upcoming film does not feature Johnny Depp but shows the villain looking for Jack Sparrow. He asks Will Turner's son, Henry, about the possible whereabouts of the pirate leader. A quick look at the trailer will make anyone think that Captain Salazar is really determined to kill Sparrow and that there is no stopping him from pursuing him.

If Sparrow dies in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5," then it may be the last film of Johnny Depp with the franchise. Despite speculations about his death, however, some fans believe that the upcoming film will not see the death of Jack Sparrow, but will follow him as he searches for the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that will allow him to take control of the sea and get rid of Captain Salazar.
