"Pitch Perfect," a musical comedy released in 2012, is revving up for a second go with audiences, but will the two original all-star members of the Bellas' singing ensemble, Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick, be reprise their roles in the second film?

Kendrick played the unforgettable Beca, a rebellious spirit with a touchingly sweet singing voice. Rebel complimented that performance with Fat Amy, a gifted singer, and a simultaneously awkward and confidently wise-cracking team member.

Both artists have been busy with other projects since finishing the debut film. Kendrick went triple platinum with her single "Cups" and has recently finished a role in Disney's adaptation of the Broadway musical "Into the Woods." Wilson is headlining the ABC comedy "Super Fun Night," her brainchild which she produces and writes.

Fortunately, a recent announcement that both singers/actresses have closed a deal to return in their roles has been made by Universal Pictures. In addition actress and comedy star Elizabeth Banks has been confirmed to be taking the director's chair. Banks played Gail, a quirky commentator, in the original production. 

Fans will be pleased to find their favorite characters towing the line for the sequel, but what about the minor roles and characters of the first film?
