PlayStation 4 Games: Destiny, The Order, and Minecraft Round Out Over 100 New Titles for Sony
A PlayStation 4 executive announced that the console will be releasing over 100 games this year.
Sony Computer Entertainment vice president of marketing John Koller said most of the titles will run in 1080p, and some of the bigger games are The Order, Destiny, and Minecraft.
"Immediately from launch, we're seeing a much greater social connection," Koller said of the amount of users who play online on the system. While 90 percent of users are online, it took the PS3 three years to reach 70 percent, reported Polygon.
PlayStation 4 just received a system hardware update that came with wireless support for stereo headsets.
The announcement was made by Sony last week, and the update, called 1.60, was for the Pulse Elite Edition and regular Pulse headsets. According to Sony it offers 7.1 virtual surround sound and a clearer voice chat.
A Gold Wireless Headset with 7.1 surround sound is being developed by Sony for the PS4 and PS3, and will also be compatible with computers via an audio cable to the PS Vita, reported Polygon.
Later this month the "Headset Companion App" will be in the PlayStation Store. It will be compatible for the both headsets.
