PlayStation 4 Pro Controller Release Date, News: Leaked Image Of Third-Party Controllers Make Its Way Online
Leaked images of the first third-party PlayStation 4 Pro controllers, built by Nacon and Razer, have found their way on the Web.
According to multiple news reports, the first PlayStation 4 Pro controller was made by Razer and gives tribute to Raiju, the mythical Japanese creature. Apparently, this device has a "hair-trigger" mode which will give the user the advantage especially in fighting games. There are also two custom profiles the user can choose from. For additional grip, the rubber caps in the analog sticks are detachable.
This one has four extra shortcut buttons, two extra detachable triggers and two extra bumpers.
This PlayStation 4 Pro controller is compatible with all PS 4 systems though the braided 3-pmeter long USB cable.
There's also the PlayStation 4 Pro controller from Nacon that looks quite similar to the Xbox controller with its asymmetrical analog sticks, said this news article. The sticks also has "enhanced with innovative firmware for advanced eSports accuracy and reach."
This device also features an enhanced 8-way directional pad as well as four profiles for customized e-mapping controls. You can configure it through the PC application, which also allows you to assign macros and adjust sensitivity to the analog sticks and triggers.
The PlayStation Pro 4 controller from Nacon is compatible will also PS 4 consoles through the 3-meter long USB cable that can be detached.
The two PlayStation 4 Pro controllers will reportedly be commercially available during the holiday season. There's no pricing yet as that information will be released right before the launch date.
