PlayStation Plus Free Games For October 2016: ‘Resident Evil 6’ And ‘Watch Dogs’ Available For Download

PlayStation Plus Free Games subscribers have been complaining about the lack of AAA titles being offered in the program. That may change if all the rumors about "Resident Evil 6" and "Watch Dogs" being available for download in October 2016.

A report from Christian Daily reported about the possibility of both titles being included in PlayStation Plus Free Games For October 2016.

There's no confirmation from Sony about the latest rumors surrounding "Watch Dogs" and "Resident Evil."

In "Watch Dogs," you play Aiden Pierce, a gray hat hacker who is out to find out who murdered his niece.

Nevertheless, this would be a good opportunity to create a buzz on "Watch Dogs" considering that the sequel is set to be released two months from now. The same goes for "Resident Evil 7," which will come out in January next year.

Rumors are claiming that the titles to be announced in PlayStation Plus Free Games For October 2016 include: Gust's "Nights of Azure"; Arc System Works' "BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend"; and Tamsoft's "Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus" and Ubisoft's "From Dust."

Again there's no confirmation about these titles being included in PlayStation Plus Free Games for October 2016. So for now, they should be treated as rumors.

In related news, the subscription rate for PlayStation Plus in the US and Canada will reportedly increase by $10 starting in October. That will bring the total annual fee for the service at $60, similar to Xbox Live.

However, GameNGuide said that Sony can placate fans by offering AAA titles for its PlayStation Plus Free Games For October 2016.
