PlayStation VR News Update: Tech Works On Xbox One, Players Facing Some Issues?
In line with the PlayStation VR, Sony's latest tech is reportedly functional on Xbox One. Along with this, some users also encountered some issues.
The PlayStation VR also works on Xbox One, according to Forbes. As per the publication, the HDMI cable can actually be connected to other output devices, which cover the Wii U, PC, and Xbox One. It is added that while players cannot access proper VR games, the said connection lets them to use their headset as their monitor for the other hardware.
As per the report, the Playstation VR is more accessible than the Vive or the Rift, but not as strong as the latter two. In addition,players can also obtain a much better image with a normal HDTV, since the headset will enlarge the image inside the VR.
In this regard, some players have also reported some problems with Sony's device. In a Reddit thread, user roOot expressed his concern about the Center of View in he PlayStation VR. As per the Redditor, the Center of View moves to the left when playing or looking around in almost every game.
A case in point is in "Drivecub." According to roOot, he had to look almost over his left shoulder to keep the center in the view, after three laps. As per the Redditor, this applies to the eve and battlezone, which he compares to turning his body to the right even though he was sitting still.
Reddit user Chief19861986 shared his method to resolve the aforementioned issue. He wrote that the player should ensure that he sat exactly 180 cm, 6 ft from the camera. For him, it served as a "sweet spot" while playing with the VR.
Sony's PlayStation VR came out on Oct. 13.
