'Pokémon Go: Gen 2' Release Date News & Update: December 7 Launch Date Leaked?

The release date of the "Pokémon Go: Generation 2" is reportedly leaked and it's going to be on Dec. 7.

The leak was revealed on Reddit reportedly by a Starbucks worker who claimed about having gotten hold of a memo from the head office directing a new marketing strategy to take advantage of the release date for "Pokémon Go: Generation 2."

The post has since been taken down but BGR published the alleged memo from Starbucks as well as the accompanying statement from the poster. Apparently, Starbucks wanted to put a Pokestop on each coffeeshop in order to lure in customers.

The poster also claimed to be a fan of the game and just wanted to share the news on the "Pokémon Go: Generation 2" release date.

But then again some of the Redditors did not immediately believe the post considering that "Pokeman" was misspelled, a mistake that is unlikely to be committed by somebody who claims to be a fan. It can't be a typo either since it was repeated three times.

In lieu of the release date of "Pokémon Go: Generation 2," you can take part in the Thanksgiving Event for the game, which starts on Nov. 23 until the end of the month.

The post on the blog said,"It has been an incredible experience since we launched Pokémon Go a few short months ago in July. We are humbled that hundreds of millions of you around the world have joined us on this journey. So we would like to say thank you - and what better way to say thank you than to celebrate our community."

Watch out for more news on the "Pokémon Go: Generation 2" release date, which will be published here when we get our hands on it.
